Custom CSS and custom content
There is a custom css field and possibilities to add script and other content in articles. Please use this with utmost care as Digitalist that host and support the sites have no control of content changes done by an editor.
Consequences by adding or changing current CSS is that functionality might break or look really bad when upgrading the platform.
Accessibility
When editing content it is easy to exclude people if you do not have equal usage in mind. Here is a few examples what to always consider and further reading:
- Do not create custom style with bad contrast
- Make sure to check that all pages have correct headings.
- Write links that are clear
- Always add descriptive texts for images
- Please ensure that you write texts that are easy to read
- Do not use text in image. It is not scalable, translatable or readable.

Video content
Make sure video content is paced in a way that the visitor and avoid flickering animations and sequences that can cause seizures. Use understandable language and give an alternative in text in the video article.
Captioning of videos
Do not include text in a video. It does not scale, it is not translatable and is hard to read. A visitor can't control the text display if it is "burnt into the video".
